Background
I was certified in 1977 in Houston, Texas after graduating summa cum laude from the University of Houston in 1975. Internship was at an international CPA firm specializing in the hospitality industry.
From there I was drafted by their biggest client, traveling all over the United States helping to open new restaurants and hotels and auditing their locations already in existence. In 1981, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia where I started my own business primarily working on a per diem basis for other CPA’s until I acquired my own client base.
My firm was initiated in 1993 and has served a myriad of clients: a Georgia County, a nonprofit private school in Atlanta, many small and medium-sized professionals (doctors, attorneys, architects), service industries, consultants, retail, construction and a number of clients in the hospitality and entertainment industries.
Services have included government, non-profit, and for profit auditing, business and personal tax advice and preparation, business management consulting, as well as on-going general accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll services.
Ever since my earlier travels to the northwest, I have wanted to live here, and finally decided to make the move in November 2015. Thanks to today’s technology, I have managed to retain a good portion of my client base but am hoping to expand my business locally.
